The latest from Poole's Cavern

Coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis. Poole’s Cavern closed to the public from Thursday 19th March.

In Category: featured, News

In response to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis, Buxton Civic Association trustees have made the difficult decision to close the visitor attraction to the public until further notice.

The decision to close is to safeguard our visitors, staff and volunteers based upon latest government advice. We will review the situation as it evolves and re-open at the earliest safe opportunity.

Although the visitor centre, cavern and café will be closed, the country park woodland trails remain open and we encourage visitors to visit and enjoy the woodlands, Solomon’s Temple viewpoint and the surrounding countryside. We will keep an outside toilet open for visitors at all times.
